Mr Rakesh Kucheria

Mr Rakesh Kucheria specialises in lower limb anthroplasty including hip replacements, unicondylar knee replacements, revision hip and total knee replacements. He also specialises in reconstruction after trauma. Mr Kucheria has a special interest in treatment of fracture neck of femurs and other fractures and soft tissue injuries. He enjoys dealing with trauma patients and has a keen interest in this area. He also sees acute back problems, although most patients do not need surgery.

For the last ten years, Mr Kucheria has been an orthopaedic consultant at Heatherwood and Wexham Park NHS Trust. He trained at Royal London Orthopaedic and Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, Stanmore. Mr Kucheria has extensive experience of endoprosthetic reconstruction for failed anthroplasty and pathological fractures. He is the lead at his NHS and private practice for enhanced recovery and thromboprophylaxis in orthopaedics.
